DALE E. CLINE
Dale Eugene Cline, 85, of Gardners, PA died on Thursday, October 20, 2011 in the Transitions Health Care Center of Gettysburg, PA. He was born on June 20, 1926 in Adams County to the late Edward and Beulah Wampler Cline and was the widower of Dorothy Yohe Cline who passed on February 12, 2003.

Dale retired as a mechanic from the former Kimberly Clark Paper Plant in Mt. Holly Springs, PA. He had attended the former Cline's United Methodist Church in Gardners (Adams County), and was a life member of the Gettysburg Moose Lodge #1526 and the White Circle Club of Carlisle. Dale was also a member of St. John's Lodge #260 F&AM, Harrisburg Consistory, Central Penn Scottish Rite, Tall Cedars and life member and former chairman of the C/C Blood Bank. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and served with the 100th First Infantry and 82nd Air Borne Division. Dale is survived by two sisters, Margaret Rose and Bertha Gardner both residing in the Transitions Health Care Center of Gettysburg and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by a sister, Jennie Cline; four brothers, Samuel, Lester, Thurston and John Cline.

A Celebration Of Life Service for Dale will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 1:15 p.m., in the Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, Pa. Officiating will be the Reverend Richard L. Reese. Interment will be held in the Bendersville Cemetery (Adams County). There will be a Masonic Service held on Saturday, by the St. John's Lodge at 1:00 p.m., in the funeral home. Following the Memorial Services there will be military honors being provided by the Cumberland County Honor Guard at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Home Care Hospice, 260 W. High St., Gettysburg, PA 17325 or to the charity of your choice.
