    Of Mashpee, formerly of Burlington, Nov, 9, beloved husband of Rose M. (Turco-Doherty) Connors of Mashpee and the late Mary (Mahoney). Loving father of Dr. Mary Connors & her husband, Robert Adams of N. Easton, John Connors & Jeaneene Manual of Saugus, Anne Kauffman & her husband Ronald of Hudson, NH, and Paul Connors of Saugus. Stepfather of Karen Weadick & her husband Richard of Tyngsboro, Anthony Doherty & his wife Donna of Saugus, Dr. Kurt Doherty & his wife Lynne of Burlington, and Paula McMahon & her husband Robert of Burlington. Brother of the late Dr. Louis Connors, Louise Merrill, Millie Raftery, and Irene Sweeney. Also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 4-3 Winn St., BURLINGTON, MA, on Monday, November 12 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Malachy Church, 99 Bedford St., Burlington, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 3-6 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington. Grave marker for John W. Connors in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington (Middlesex county), Massachusetts.

John enlisted on the Army at Boston, MA on 25 January 1943.

On 23 April 1945 Pvt Connor was transferred from the 51st Reinforcement Battalion to Company G, 508th PIR.

Following the war John studied to earn a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree, note the inclusion of "DC" following his name on the obverse of the large grave stone.
