Grave marker for Donald J. Cowger in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa (Hillsborough County), Florida.

Donald enlisted in the Army on 20 December 1941 and volunteered for parachutist duty. 

Tec/5 Cowger was wounded in action in Holland on 7 November 1944 and received the Purple Heart.  He also was award the Bronze Service Arrowhead device for the for Holland campaign and Airborne operations.
