JESS E. CROASMUN

Grave marker for Jess E. Croasmun in Plot 13 543 of the Roselawn Cemetery, Pueblo (Pueblo county), Colorado.

Jess enlisted in the Army at Denver, CO on 11 May 1943.

Pvt Croasmun was transferred from 82nd airborne Division HQ to service Company, 508th on 23 September 1944.  He was subsequently reassigned to Hq 1st and promoted to Pfc on 4 Jan 1945.

Wounded in action on 15 February 1945, he returned to duty on 4 April 1945.

Pfc Croasmun was awarded the Purple Heart and also the Combat Infantryman Badge for action during campaign, 18 Dec 1944 to 20 Feb 1945.
