George Wesley Cromwell didn't1 even kiss his two children, aged 3 years and 17 months. when he came home last December after 16 months overseas, Rachal Iris Cromwell testified in superior court' yesterday. She said her husband' told her he wanted his freedom and didn't care to have the responsibility of a family. He has re-, enlisted in the army and returned to Germany, she testified.
She was granted a divorce, custody of the two children and $100 a. month support money. They were married April 20, 1942.

Wesley registered for the draft in Spokane, WA on 30
June 1942 and enlisted in the Army on 15 May 191944
Pfc Cromwell was transferred to Co F, 508th PIR from the
6900th Reinforcement Depot on 3 June 1945. He
re-enlisted on 10 November 1945 and was sent on TDY with the
6903rd Reinforcement Battalion, Le Havre, France on that same day.
This probably meant he had re-enlistment bonus of a trip home ad the
timing is right fiord his return to his wife and children in December,
as mentioned in the article at left. Wesley went
through at last two more marriages in Carson City, NV and El Paso, TX
