Grave markers for Ernest O. Croy in Oak Park Plot II 18 of
the Versailles Cemetery, Versailles (Morgan county), Ohio.
Ernest enlisted in the Army at San Francisco, CA on 20
October 1942 and was assigned to Company E, 508th PIR.
Pvt Croy was appointed to the grade of Pfc on 4
February 1943. On 12 March 1943 he was listed as being transferred
to Hq 2nd but did not reappear in any other Morning Reports within the
508th. |
