LAWYER EDWARD CUMMINGS, 74 of Memphis, Staff Sergeant (retired) and TIP Trucking Co., died Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at his home.
Visitation Friday, 4-7 at E.H. Ford Mortuary; services 11 a.m., Saturday, Golden United Methodist Church; burial 9 a.m., Tuesday, West TN. Cemetery.
Mr. Cummings was preceded in death by his wife Lurlean Cummings. He was a member of the Male Chorus, Quilting Circle, MRTSA and VFW.
He leaves 2 daughters Elizabeth Parrish, Charlesta Meadows and 1 son, William Edward Cummings of Memphis, all of Memphis, 2 sisters, Patricia Ann Jones-Brown and Deborrah King of Memphis, 1 brother, Rev. Willie Gene Cummings, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

on 31 July 1972.
