 George L Davison

   BRADENTON, Fla. - George L. Davison, 76, of Bradenton died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at Blake Hospital.
   Survivors: wife, Donna Lou Cole; a son, Stephen Davison of Missouri City, Texas; a daughter, Sheryl (husband, Chris) Aune of Lake Geneva, Wis.; several grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joy Sexton of Springfield.
   Behner Funeral Home in Fair­ field, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.

George registered for the draft in Fairfield, IA on 19 February 1944 and was inducted intro the Army at Jefferson Barracks, MO on 10 July 1944.

Pvt Davison departed the U.S. on 6 April 1945 and on 3 June 1945 was transferred from the 6900th Reinforcement Depot to Company F, 508th PIR.

Pvt Davison returned to the U,S. on 19 June 1946 and was discharged on 25 June 1946

On 22 August 1948, George married Donna Lou Cole.
