Grave marker for Arvel J. Doggett in the
Cottonwood Cemetery, Cottonwood (Yavapai county), Arizona.
Arvel enlisted in the Army at Phoenix,
AZ on 11 August 1942. Two years later, having completed jump
school, T5 Doggett was transferred from the 82nd A/B Division
replacement depot at Leicester, England to Service Company, 508th PIR.
He later transferred out of the
regiment and served in Company E, 417th Infantry Regiment but no records
reflecting that have been located thus far. |
