Grave marker for Robert L. Ebert in the Elgin Cemetery , Elgin (Chautauqua County), Kansas

   Robert L. Ebert was a member of the Medical Detachment and attached to Company F. 
   He was awarded the Bronze Service Arrowhead for the Normandy Invasion.  In addition he earned the Purple Heart for a wound sustained on September 17, 1944 in Holland.
