JONES NEWTON EPPS

Grave marker for Jones Newton Epps in the Carmel Cemetery, Mansfield (Newton County), Georgia.

Jones was a Lieutenant in the Hq 1st Company during WW-II.  He remained in the Army and served in Korea, where he earned the Purple Heart, and in Vietnam as well.  It is not known when he received the Bronze Star Medal.
