Wayne M. Faxon enlisted in the Army at Los
Angeles, CA on 29 September 1942. Pvt Faxon was assigned to
Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 508th PIR.
On 29 January 1943 he was appointed to the
grade of T/5 and by September had been elevated to T/4.
T/4 Faxon was discharged on 9 November
1945.
