VICTOR F. FELBOB

Grave marker for Victor F. Felbob in the Davisboro City Cemetery, Davisboro (Washington county), Georgia.

Pvt Felbob was transferred from the 509th PIR to Hq 3rd, 508th PIR on 12 February 1945

Pfc Felbob was awarded the Bronze Service Arrowhead device for Southern France Campaign and Airborne Operations.

Pfc Felbob sailed from Le Havre, France to New York City aboard the SS Monticello (AP-61).

Originally operated as an Italian liner named the SS Conte Grande she was acquired by the United States  and was used as an American troopship
