VINCE J. FIORINO

Grave marker for Vince J. Fiorino in Section 69 Site 5161, Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington (Arlington county), Virginia.

Vice enlisted in the army on 24 May 1943.  He was a parachutist volunteer and his earlt service history is unknown.

Pvt Fiorino was transferred from the 551st PIR to Service Company, 508th PIR on 31 January 1945, and three days later he was transferred to Company I.

Pfc Fiorino was discharged on 31 December 1945.

His military decorations include the Bronze Star Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the Combat Infantryman Badge and the Bronze Service Arrowhead device which was awarded for the Southern France Campaign and Airborne Operations.
