Grave marker for Brazil S. Follis in Cumby Cemetery, Cumby
(Hopkins county), Texas.
Brazil registered for the draft in Sulphur Springs, TX on 26
November 1943 and was inducted into the Army on 4 February 1944.
On 2 December 1945 Pfc Follis was transferred to Hq 2nd,
508th PIR from either the 504th PIR or the 505th PIR [the orders co-mingled men
of both regiments without distinguishing between them.\
Brazil married Doris Jean Oglesby in Hunt, Texas on 23 February
