CHESTER L. FRITTS

Grave marker for Chester L. Fritts in Cumberland Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville (Cumberland county), North Carolina.

Chester registered for the draft on 6 December 1`942 and entered service in the Army on 27 January 1943. 

Pfc Fritts was transferred from the 5904th PIR to Company E, 508th PIR on 9 October 1945.

He re-enlisted on 10 November 1945 and was discharged on 9 November 1948.

Chester was re-called to duty on 11 February 1950 due to the Korean Conflict and served until 27 February 1954.
