HARRY H. GEARHART

Grave marker for Harry H. Gearhart in the Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery, Oklahoma City (Oklahoma County), Oklahoma.

Harry enlisted in the Army on April 26, 1940 while living in Dawes county, Nebraska.  He volunteered early for parachutist duty and by November 1943 he was with the 508th at Camp Blanding, FL.

Pfc Gearhart was a member of Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion

GEARHART
   Harry H., 76, born Jan 9. 1919, in Douglas, AZ, died Nov 20, 1995.  He was a sheet metal worker at TAFB [Tinker Air Force Base] and a member of Crossroads Cathedral.  Harry was an Infantry veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristina, and her husband Dale Ritter of OKC; brother Delbert of Wichita, KS; sister Marie of Colorado Springs, CO; 1 grand child, many nieces and nephews.  Harry will greet his wife in heaven.

Service 10 a.m. Wednesday, Crossroads Cathedral with interment in Spring Creek Cemetery.
