Pennsylvania Record Of Burial Place Of Veteran regarding Joseph A. Gedeika in Lawn Croft Crematory, Linwood (Delaware county), Pennsylvania.

Joseph enlisted in the Army at Harrisburg, PA on 25 May 1943 and was assigned to Hq Hq, 508th PIR.

Pvt Gedeika left the United Sates for the ETO on 10 February 1944 ande apparently participated in the Normandy invasion.

He  was appointed to the grade of Pfc on 8 January 1945 and then advanced to Corporal.

Cpl Gedeika was discharged at Indian Gap Military Reservation (IGMR), PA on 22 December 1945.
