Memorial Gardens. Tullahoma (Coffee County), Tennessee.
George was transferred to
Hq 1st Company on September 16, 1944, arriving just in time for the
Holland jump which was launched the following day. He was wounded
there on October 2nd.
After recuperation he was
also available for the Battle of The Bulge and was again wounded on
January 31, 1945. |
