Park, Altoona (Blair County), Pennsylvania.
Robert graduated from jump school on 12 March 1943. He was
transferred to the 508th and was assigned to Headquarters Company, 3rd
Battalion. He was with that company during the invasion of
Normandy on D-Day.
Sgt Glunt was awarded the Bronze Star Medal as
well as the Good Conduct Medal and various ETO decorations
