Pvt Goad was transferred
from the 6900th Reinforcement Depot to Company B, 508h PIR on 3 June
1945.
He arrived in New York, NY
from Le Havre, France aboard the USS Le Jeune on 6 May 1946.
He remained in the Army
and on 26 December 1948,m he again sailed into New York City's harbor,
this time from Bremerhaven, Germany aboard the USAT Edmund B Alexander. |
