Good in plot 1, site 732 of the Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta
(Kalamazoo county), Michigan.
Warren was transferred to
Hq 1st, 508th PIR from the 11th Replacement Depot on 10 August 1944 as
the regiment rebuilt its strength following the Normandy campaign.
Pvt Good was wounded in
action on 13 October 1944 and received the Bronze Service Arrowhead
device for the Holland campaign and Airborne operations.
On 4 January 1945 he was
transferred to Company A and was promoted to Pfc the following day.
Cpl Good was transferred
to the 513th PIR on 18 August 1945, probably to facilitate his
transportation back to the U.S. based on points earned.
He remained in the Army
and became a Chief Warrant Officer (CWO-4)
