Saint Augustine (St. Johns County), Florida.
Obe enlisted at Camp
Blanding, FL; on November 17, 1943 and caught up with the 508th in
England about one year later. He was transferred from Service
Company to Company C and fought in the battle of The Bulge where he was
wounded and received the Purple Heart. |
