HUGH GORDON


HUGH GORDON, 78, of Winder, a Moultrie native, died Tuesday. The body was cremated. Memorial service, 11 a.m. today, Smith Funeral Home.

Grave marker for Hugh Gordon in the Barrow Memorial Gardens, Russell (Barrow County), Georgia,

Hugh served in Company A during WW-II and was wounded in action in Belgium on January 7, 1945 during the battle of The Bulge.  He also saw service in Korea and Vietnam retiring as a Command Sergeant Major.
