Grave marker of Lester Roy Green in the Mesquite Cemetery Mesquite (Dallas County), Texas.

Lester was a Medic and jumped into Normandy along with his twin Brother Chester J. Green who was in Company E.  Chester died of wounds after being hit on D-Day. 

Lester however was captured, on D-Day.  He spent the rest of the war in a POW camp.  He was released from Stalag 4B Muhlberg Sachsen 51-13 on May 12. 1945.
