MARVIN E. GREENING

Marvin was the son of Eben C Greening & Neva E Smelser.

He married Vida M Leake on 27 September 1947 and they had 3 children.

He was a WW II veteran of the 82nd Airborne Div, in Europe for 27 months.

Marvin worked for Southwestern Bell for 34 years.

Marvin enlisted in the Army on 4 De3ember 1942

On 23 July 1944 Pfc Greening was transferred from the 82nd Airborne Division Headquarters to Hq/2nd, 508th PIR.  He was promoted to Tec/5 on 19 January 1945 and transferred to Co F on 1 April 1945.

His military decorations include te Combat Infantryman Badge for action during campaign, 18 Dec 1944 to 20 Feb 1945.
