LITTLE RIVER [SC] - John R. Hafenbrack, 78, died Friday, March 5, 1999, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn ''Toni'' Hafenbrack of Little River; a son, John Robert Hafenbrack Jr. of Middlesex, N.J.; two daughters, Robin Annie Hague of Somerset, N.J., and Doreen Marie Johnson of South Bound Brook, N.J.; four sisters; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be later in Edison, N.J. McMillan-Small Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
