Hager In Hospital
    Pvt George L Hager, 621 X W 19th ave, veteran of six months service in Germany, has arrived at Welch Convalescent Hospital Daytona Beach.  He was formerly employed by the U S Post Office in Miami.

  HAGER GEORGE C., 76. of Miami, 60 year,. June 7, 1988. He was the former owner of Hagar Construction Co/. Veteran of WWII and a member of Ludiam Christian Church.. Survived by his wife Marjorie,, daughter Patricia Ann Renew, son Kenneth W , brother and sister-in-law/ Rev. John H. and Frances Hager. Visitation 7-p m. Wednesday, services 1 30 p m. George registered for the draft in Miami, FL and was inducted into the Army at Fort McPherson, Atlanta, GA on 25 February 1`944.

Pvt Hager was transferred from the 51st Reinforcement Depot to Hq 2nd, 508th PIR on 16 April 1945.

In July 1845, Pvt Hagen was hospitalized with a diagnosis of Encephalopathy, post-traumatic; and Neuritis, facial (Bell's palsy),

In March 1946 he was invalided home and discharged for disability incurred in the line of duty.
