Grave marker for Raymond F. Heidrich in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid (Garfield county), Oklahoma.

Raymond registered for the draft in Perryton, TX on 13 September 1944 and was inducted into the Army at Fort Leavenworth, KS on 15 May 1945.

It is unclear when Pvt Heidrich joined with Company I, 508th PIR as the available Morning Reports go only through December 1945.  He did appear on General Order 33 dated 5 September 1946 when he was awarded a Good Conduct Medal.
