Jessie registered for the draft in Henryretta, OK on 29 June 1942 and was inducted into the Army on 13 March  1943.

On 11/9/1945. Pvt Heneha was transferred from the 504th PIR to company C, 508th PIR, 

He was discharged to re-enlist on 9 November 1945 and was granted early passage back to the U.S. as a consequence. He also was promoted to Pfc on 15 November.

Pfc Heneha was transferred to the 6903rd Reinforcement Battalion on 27 November 1945.

He arrived in New York City, NY on 3 January1946 and was destined to travel to the Reception Center at Fort Chaffee, AR before going on furlough.  after that he was to report to the 3rd Reinforcement Depot for reassignment.
