JAMES B. HENRY
James Henry
   SAVANNA, IL.--- Services for James B. "Pat" Henry, 76, of Savanna; will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna.
   Visitation is one hour before the service. Masonic services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
   Burial will be in Lanark Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by members of Savanna Veterans of Foreign Wars.
   Mr. Henry died Saturday, Aug. 24, 1996, at Finley Hospital, Dubuque, Iowa.
  He worked from 1946-73 as a supply clerk for the ammunitions school at Savanna Army Depot.
   He was born Nov. 19, 1919, Chester, Pa. He married Fern Kingery in 1943. She died in 1990.
   During World War II, he served in the Army.
   Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
   Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Henry, Covington, La.; a sister, Virginia Deane, Richmond, Va.; stepsisters, Pearl Martin, Richmond, and Beatrice Martin, Darby, Pa. and stepbrothers, William Grady, Haverton, Pa., and Norwood Grady, Richmond.

James registered for the draft on 1 July 1941 and was inducted into the Army on 15 September 1941.

On 3 June 1945, Pvt Henry was transferred from the 6900 Reinforcement Depot to Company C, 508th PIR.
