Grave marker for SFC Aloysius V. Hill in the Pawhuska City
Cemetery, Pawhuska (Osage county), Oklahoma.
Aloysius was transferred to the 508th from the 509th PIR on 6 February
1945 as that unit was being deactivated.
On 31 May 1945 he was transferred to the 101st Airborne
Division.
Sfc Hill served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. His
military awards include the Bronze Service Arrowhead device for his
participation in the Southern France Campaign and Airborne Operations |
