Pfc Hardin Hopper son of Mr. and
Mrs. C H Hopper was given his discharge from the Army recently.
Pfc Hopper served with the 508th
Parachute Regiment in France and Ger-many for many months

Army at Ft Oglethorpe, GA on 4 June 1942.
Pfc Hopper transferred to
Company A, 508th PIR from the 509th PIR on 28 February 1945.
His military decorations
include the Purple Heart, Bronze star Medal and the Bronze Service
Arrowhead device for the Southern France Campaign and Airborne
Operations.
