Pfc (later Sgt) Fred J. Infanger was a member of Company
E, 508th PIR and took part in the parachute invasion of Normandy, France
on D-Day June 6, 1944. He was awarded the Bronze Service Arrowhead
device for his participation in the Normandy assault. |
