EVERETT O. IRVING

Grave marker for Everett O. Irving in Section 67, Grave 979 of Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington (Arlington county), Virginia.

Everett, a native of Rhode Island enlisted in the Army 19 May 1941 and was transferred from 82nd Airborne Hq to Company H, 508th PIR on 3 October 1944.

Pfc Irving was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge for action during campaign, 18 Dec 1944 to 20 Feb 1945.

Discharged on 5 July 1945, he re-enlisted on 10 November 1945.  He ultimately retired as a command Sergeant Major.
