WALTER K. IVEY

[courtesy of David Oxford)
Grave marker for Walter K. Ivey in Section: 1, Grave: 583 of the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Greensboro (Guilford county), North Carolina.

Pvt Ivey was assigned to Company E, 508th from the 3rd Replacement Depot on 13 February 1945 as a replacement for losses sustained during the Battle of the Bulge.  He arrived too late, however, to see any action as the regiment had already been moved to Camp Sissonne, France on 21 February 1945..
