Albert J. Janosik in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Gallitzin (Cambria
county), Pennsylvania.
Albert enlisted in the Army at Altoona, PA on 12
March 1942 and was assigned to Company G, 508th PIR.
Pvt Janosik was declared as a qualified parachutist
on 3 December 1943. He was placed on Special Duty with the Hq
Det (Rear Det) at Camp Mackall, NC on 7 September 1943.
On 27 October 43 Pvt Janosik was transferred to the
26th Infantry Division at Camp Campbell, KY. |
