B. B.. Johnson died on 20 May 1990 in Houston (Harris
county), Texas, his final resting place has not yet been located.
B. B., known only by his initials, registered for the draft in
Houston, TX on 30 June 1942 and was inducted into the Army on 10
October that same year.
On 6 March 1943, B. B. married Hazel Audrey
Goss in Harris county, TX, probably while home on furlough following
completion of jump school.
Pfc Johnson was reported missing in action as of 6
June 1944 and later determined to be a prisoner of war.
He was liberated from Stalag 4F after the war
