Grave marker for Col (Ret.) Raymond Levis Kampe in Plot
C-2, 0, 717 in the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella
Village (Merced County), California. Raymond was
a First Lieutenant in Company B when he was awarded the Bronze Star
Medal during WW-II.
His grave marker indicates that he won the Silver Star
and the Purple Heart as well, perhaps during his service in Korea or
Vietnam. |
