CARLTON P. KLENK
Carlton P. Klenk, September 11, 2002, of Springville, formerly of West Seneca.
   Husband of the late Ethel J. (nee Lauchert) Klenk; father father of Susan E. (Robert) Boschock and David P. (Sharon P.) Klenk; also survived by four grandchildren; brother of Clifford (Charlene) Klenk and the late Irving, Alvin, Russell Klenk, Dorothy Witte and Priscilla Perison; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
   Friends may call Friday, September 20, from 10-11 10-11 10-11 a.m. at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, Inc., 271 East Main Street, Springville, where funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock. Pastor Harle Mould will officiate.
   Expressions Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Hospice Buffalo.

Grave marker for Carlton P. Klenk in Woodlawn Cemetery, Orchard Park (Erie county), Pennsylvania.

Carlton enlisted in the army at Buffalo, NY on 4 March 1943.

On 5 November 1943, Pvt Klenk was transferred to Service Company, 508th PIR.  Where he transferred from  was not recorded.

On 27 November 1943 he was listed in listed in a group of men who were apparently transferred but the details are illegible.
