FRED KNIGHT

GOOSE CREEK - Graveside services for Fred Knight, 79, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Grand View Memorial Gardens in Travelers Rest. James A. Dyal Funeral Home is in charge.

Mr. Knight died Tuesday. Born in Chester County, he was a son of the late Jack Knight and Alline Rorry Knight. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received a Purple Heart.

Surviving are his sons, Ted Tucker, Fred Jr. and Robert Knight; daughter, Marsha Crosby; brother, Harold Knight; sisters, Mable Henson, Virginia Williams, Josephine Grammarinaro; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
