Orland Kruckenberg
   HAZEN --- Orland Kruckenberg, 75, Hazen, died July 25, 2009, at the North Dakota State Hospital, Jamestown. Services will be held at 9 a.m. MDT, Thursday, July 30, at Peace Lutheran Church, Hazen. Further arrangements are pending with Seibel Funeral Home, Hazen.

  HAZEN --- Orland Kruckenberg, 75, Hazen, died July 25, 2009, at the North Dakota State Hospital, Jamestown. Services will be held at 9 a.m. MDT Thursday, July 30, at Peace Lutheran Church, Hazen. Burial will be in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, rural Mandan.
   He is survived by his wife, Ella; three daughters, Diane Olson, Bremerton, Wash., Nancy Wolf, Hazen, and Marie Hoff, Stevensville, Mont.; two sons, Orland Ray, Hazen, and Anton, Bismarck; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Norman, Washington, and Rudy, Kenmare; and five sisters, Darlene Lingquist, .Arizona, Judy Ziemann, Hazen, Joyce Spurzem, Minnesota, Carrie Zap, and Sandra Sayler, Hettinger. Grave marker for Orland Kruckenberg in Section G, Site 412, North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan (Morton county), North Dakota.

Orland enlisted in the Army on 9 December 1953.

Spec 3rd Kruckenberg was a member of Support company, 508th ARCT.

He was discharged on 3 December 1955.
