RICHARD S. KUBIK

Grave marker for Richard S. Kubik in Block 59, Lot 7, Site 3, Beulah Cemetery, Colby (Thomas county), Kansas.

Richard registered for the draft in Wellington, KS on 30 June 1942 and was inducted into the Army at Fort Leavenworth. KS on 7 June 1944.

On 3 December 1945, Pfc Kubik was transferred from either the 504th or 505th PIR.  A number of men were co-mingled on the same transfer order without distinguishing the sourcing organizations by individual.

He married Wilma H. Robinson in Nashville, KS pm 20 August 1948.  Unfortunately Wilma died at age 4p  in 1961.

Richard wed Betty Joan Turner in Lenoir, NC on 6 June 1962.
