Theodore A. Kutkoski, 80, 1612 N. 37th St., formerly of 1315 E. 7th St., died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1999, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born Dec. 16, 1918, in Superior, he had been a lifelong city resident.
Mr. Kutkoski was a U.S. Army veteran, serving as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne in the European Theater during World War II. He had been employed as an electrician for 42 years with the former Great Northern and the Burlington Northern railroads.
He was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King, Henry S. Blomberg VFW Post No. 847, of which he had been commander for three years, and also served as commander of the VFW 10th District. He was a charter member of the Thaddeus Kosciuszko Fraternal Aid Society (Polish Club).
Surviving are his wife, Margaret E.; a brother, Anthony Kutkoski of Hammond, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Downs Funeral Home with Fr. Dan Dahlberg of Cathedral of Christ the King officiating. Visitation in the funeral home will be Friday
from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by the Henry S. Blomberg VFW Post No. 847.
Pallbearers will be James, Tom and Joseph Olenski and Greg Picard.
