STANLEY A. LaFARGUE

Grave marker for Stanley A. LaFargue in the Valor Section of the Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge (East Baton Rouge Parish), Louisiana.

Stanley enlisted in the Army at New Orleans, LA on 11 February 1943 and was assigned to Company G, 508th PIR.

Pfc LaFargue was awarded the the Purple Heart for a wound sustained in Normandy on 4 July 1944.  He was also awarded Combat Infantryman Badge and the Bronze Service Arrowhead for action during Normandy, France Campaign, 6 June 1944 to 9 July 1944.
