Theodore Robert “Ted” Lee
CODY — Theodore Robert “Ted” Lee,
of Cody, Wyoming, died at the age of 96, on
Thursday, November 29th, at the Cody Regional Health Long Term Care Center.
Ted was born on August 29th, 1922, in Hilliard, Florida, to Elmer and Carrie Lee. He had four brothers and one sister, all of whom are deceased.
Ted graduated from Cody High School and enlisted in the army in
1946. He married Jacquelyn Anderson in Chicago, Illinois, on November 20, 1948. Together, Ted and Jackie raised four sons.
Ted had great enthusiasm for life and was a Wyoming man through and through. He served as a Wyoming state patrolman, University of Wyoming police officer, and worked for the Wyoming State Prison. Ted’s passion for Wyoming included a love of Yellow- stone National Park, where he enjoyed nature photography and snowmobile adventures.
Ted is survived by three sons, Scott Lee of Powell, Wyoming, Greg Lee (Shirlee) of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Mark Lee (Sharon) of Delta, Colorado. Ted has six grandchildren, Shane, Ryan, Leighton, Josh, Chris, and Erin; and 11 great-grandchildren.
His loving wife, Jackie and his son, Wayne preceded him in death.
A service will be held on Monday, December 10th at 11:00 a.m. at the Cody United Methodist Church. Special thanks to the staff at Cody Regional Health Long Term Care Center for the exceptional love and care that you gave our father and grandfather.
