Park, Evendale (Hamilton county), Ohio.
Also included s a grave
registration card with his surname misspelled as ":Lemoke."
John enlisted in the army at Fort
Thomas, Newport, KY on 3 April 1943 and was assigned
to the 508th's regimental band.
Pvt Lemcke was appointed as Pfc 1
Feb 44 per [Band] Detachment Order No 1 dated 15 Jan
1944. He was later promoted to the grade of
