Funeral services for Leslie Wayne Lites, 84, of Many, LA, will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathon Bost officiating. Burial will follow in the Many Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel.
Leslie Wayne Lites was born on Tuesday, May 17, 1932 in Many, LA. He passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Sabine Retirement in Many, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Lites and Ruby (Dew) Lites.
He is survived by his wife, Cecile W. Lites of Many, LA; daughter, Ellen Elizabeth Lites of Many, LA; son, Scott Lites and wife Donna of Many, LA; grandsons: Ryan Rousseau, Eric Rousseau and Gage Lites; sister, Margaret Kay Connelly of Cassadaga, NY; brother, Ralph Dean Lites of Louisiana; along with a host of friends.
Pallbearers: Gage Lites, Eric Rousseau, Shane Wright, Brad Wright, Mike Nichols and Dean Lambert. Honorary Pallbearers: Oscar Alford, Alfice Brumley, Bob Brown, Gailor Phares, Glenn Owers, Charles Maines, Randy Walsworth and Don Burkett.
The family offers sincere thanks to Becky Stephens, Leslie’s sitter, for her devoted care. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that donations be made to St. Judes or Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home. |
