LORENZ D. LORENZEN

Grave marker for Lorenz D. Lorenzen in Lincoln Memorial Park, Lincoln (Lancaster County), Nebraska.

Lorenz a member the 508th PIR, 82nd Airborne Division from January 1, 1945 till June 1, 1946 in Frankfurt, Germany and was then transferred to the 17th Airborne Division.
 

Son of Bruno & Lida (Dales) Lorenzen.
Larry was an Army Veteran having served in World War II & Korea. He retired from the State of Nebraska as a Rehabilitation Specialist after many years of service. Larry's memberships included: St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, American Legion Post #3, & National Rehabilitation Association. He enjoyed golfing, square dancing, & card playing. He drove the train at the Lincoln Children's Zoo. Above all, Larry was very devoted to his grandchildren.
