ALBERT E. LOUGHMILLER

[courtesy of Pamela Black-Avitts]

Grave marker for Albert E. Loughmiller in Fairlawn Cemetery, Oklahoma City (Oklahoma county), Oklahoma.

Captain Loughmiller was attached from the 319th Field Artillery to Hq Hq, 508th PIR between 1 February and 5 February 1944.  During those five days, it can only be speculated that planning and coordination was being discussed.  Once completed, the Captain then returned to the 319th FA.

Although he attained the rank of Major, it is unknown when he separated from the service.
